Happy is doing wonderful! The days are sunny outside and inside the ICU. Happy spends 1 hour in the mornings with physical therapists. Yesterday (Mon) they had him stand. When Marta visited he was holding a TV remote and watching the Disney channel. Paige visited in the evening and he held her hand so tight he would not let go. Happy is strong. Nick & Monica are also frequent visitors who Happy loves to see. They are an encouragement to him.
Rajan is at Happy's side and calms him when he feels anxious. He makes sure he is warm, clean, and trying new tasks. Rajan is Happy's strength. Amisha sits by his side and helps with therapy too.
Today Happy stood up twice and danced with the therapist. He is learning to trust his feet again. Six Sunset friends visited in the afternoon and he pointed to each person as Rajan named them. He remembers all his friends. This week is final exam week and Happy is watching TV... LOL.
He is listening to "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi
I'm sorry I couldn't be there today Happy. I'm going to try and come to soon. I'm glad to hear that you are doing better. Stay strong. I miss you.
